Operasi Menuai Padi

To all who have been keeping me and my mission team in prayer, thanks!
Do continue to pray for us as we will be flying off to Kuching Sarawak in a few hours time!
Busy packing and boxing all the supplies now! :)

Pray for:

  1. Protection: Physically and spiritually
  2. Safe journey throughout the trip
  3. To be able to identify the needs of the people in the longhouses and to meet those needs.
  4. Courage to break the communication and cultural barrier.
  5. God to speak to them as well as to us individually and as a team.

As much as I'm excited and been looking forward for this trip, I'm actually feeling a little anxious right now. Don't really know what to expect third time round and don't know what may or may not happened... Worries.. Concerns...

Yet, I'm reminded by Paul's powerful and encouraging epistle to the Ephesians that God has already given us 'his incomparably great power for us who believe'.
No matter what's ahead, no matter what's in our way, one thing is for sure - Christ has won the victory ahead of us.
It is ours to claim.

And I'm claiming it right here, right now.

Ephesians 1: 18-21

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

That power is like the working of his mighty strength,
which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given,
not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

Amen :) He will enable us for what he has called us to do. Even for ministries that I've done countless times, esp directly involving ppl, I always feel afraid. I guess that's what keeps us grounded in Him and know tat if we are to be blessings, we must depend on Him.
