Season of Hope

I've been spending the past two Christmas here in Penang.
Not that I'm complaining, but I do miss spending Christmas back home to a certain extent.
After all, home IS still home.
But Christmas this year is particularly special to me for two reasons.
Firstly, I'm no longer spending Christmas as a STUDENT. My student days are long gone.
This year will be the first of many years to come spending Christmas as a working adult (Yes, age is cataching up.. I know!).
And I can actually feel the difference of the working phase than that of a student in terms of celebrating Christmas.
Time somehow seemed to have been shortened by a few hours.
Rush rush rush; So little time yet so many things to do.
Unlike uni days, so much time but do so little things. Hehe.
Secondly, it's Gateway City Church inaugural Christmas celebration!
And I got to be a part of it.
Let's see.
I've been part of Gateway City Church for almost.. er.. 3 months now (if I can count correctly.. Hehe) and it's been great.
Given the opportunity to help out in the Christmas celebration was a privilege.
It's a new church. Being part of it has taught me a lot.
My mum and sis' visited this church for Christmas service too!
Dad was not feeling well, so he was nicely napping in the room.
On my part in helping out for my church's Christmas celebration, I had the opportunity to work with two very VERY talented young girls.
Creativity is their middle name.
Dancing is their passion.
Put these two elements together and you get the Lynns'.
I worked with Ash and Nat to come up with a short skit.
I knew they were gifted, but didn't know they were THAT gifted. Hahaha.
It's amazing to see how passionate and creative these two girls were when it comes to dancing, or performing for that matter.
BIG things are coming their way.
Christmas is extra special this year.
I appreciated it; the people, the gifts and the Hope.

The Koh's...
Christmas,
A season of Hope.
Do you still cling on to hope?
More importantly, in what or who do you place your hope in?

Hey, what do you want to "Ask"? You worked with Ash! Not Ask.
And Nat's name is spelled with a "h" - Nathalynn.
Great working with you:)
Hey ASH!! Hahaha! Didn't know you actually read my blog!
Sorry for the spelling error!
You girls have such unique names I keep forgetting how to spell them! :P
Great working with you too!
There's more to come! :)
